The team from The Arboretum at Leighlinbridge are regular guests on The Sue Nunn Show on KCLR96fm with their fortnightly gardening feature, but did you know that you can see the fruits of their labour at the KCLR Listeners’ Garden at The Arboretum?
The KCLR Listeners’ Garden is a wonderful area with around twenty free-standing
specially designed planting areas set across three levels. There’s a whole range of roots,
vegetables and flowers – plants of all description. The garden is ideal for children and
adults and specifically designed with wheelchair access in mind.
There’s also a glass-house and chicken run and plenty of signage to provide all the
background details you might need to create your own garden back at home. There are also
plenty of staff on duty at at all times to show you around at no cost whatsoever.
